HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FIRST LOVE FOR THE LORD?
When we read verses in Rev 2: 1-7, we notice that the persons in the particular church had many good things going for them…… they worked hard for the Lord, they persevered in the sufferings, they did not tolerate wicked people, they had the right spiritual discernment in finding out the false ones. If we judge them by our present standards, they were doing well.
But God saw the inner situation,
He charged them that they have fallen……they are in fallen state
He charged them that they lost the first love for the Lord……they lost the real and genuine love for the things of God.
