Romans 12: 1,2
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
1. அப்படியிருக்க, சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று, tu yj இரக்கங்களை முன்னிட்டு உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; இதுவே நீங்கள் செய்யத்தக்க புத்தியுள்ள ஆராதனை. 2. நீங்கள் இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல், தேவனு5 toடைய நன்மையும் பிரியமும் பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று பகுத்தறியத்தக்கதாக, உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்.

உங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று

இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல்
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind
உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்

Paul’s admonition to the believers in Rome was to sacrifice themselves to God, not as a sacrifice on the altar, as the Mosaic Law required the sacrifice of animals, but as a living sacrifice. The dictionary defines sacrifice as “anything consecrated and offered to God.”

Yielding your body and its desires to the Lordship of God
நீங்கள் உங்கள் அவயவங்களை அநீதியின் ஆயுதங்களாகப் பாவத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாமல், உங்களை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து பிழைத்திருக்கிறவர்களாக தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, உங்கள் அவயவங்களை நீதிக்குரிய ஆயுதங்களாக தேவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுங்கள். Rom 6:13
Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.
Need to live consecrated lives
யோசுவா ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நாளைக்குக் கர்த்தர் உங்கள் நடுவிலே அற்புதங்களைச் செய்வார் என்றான். Joshua 3:5
Then Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”
ஆகையால் ஒருவன் இவைகளைவிட்டு, தன்னைச் சுத்திகரித்துக்கொண்டால், அவன் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டதும், எஜமானுக்கு உபயோகமானதும், எந்த நற்கிரியைக்கும் ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்டதுமான கனத்துக்குரிய பாத்திரமாயிருப்பான். 2 Tim 2:22
So if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, he will be a vessel for honor: sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work. 2 Tim 2:21
Do not conform to the pattern of this world இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல்
The world is defined for us in 1 John 2:15-16 as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. All that the world has to offer can be reduced to these three things.
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world.
15. உலகத்திலும் உலகத்திலுள்ளவைகளிலும் அன்புகூராதிருங்கள்; ஒருவன் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தால் அவனிடத்தில் பிதாவின் அன்பில்லை. 16. ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தின் இச்சையும், கண்களின் இச்சையும், ஜீவனத்தின் பெருமையுமாகிய உலகத்திலுள்ளவைகளெல்லாம் பிதாவினாலுண்டானவைகளல்ல, அவைகள் உலகத்தினாலுண்டானவைகள்.
The lust of the flesh includes everything that appeals to our appetites and involves excessive desires for food, drink, sex, and anything else that satisfies physical needs. Lust of the eyes mostly involves materialism, coveting whatever we see that we don’t have and envying those who have what we want. The pride of life is defined by any ambition for that which puffs us up and puts us on the throne of our own lives.
Who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age Gal 1:4 அவர் நம்மை இப்பொழுதிருக்கிற பொல்லாத பிரபஞ்சத்தினின்று விடுவிக்கும்படி நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்;
…..We belong to the one rescued us, saved us and redeemed us…not of the world
….Not to be driven by the lust and pride centred things of the world
…..Wherever the worldview contradicts with the God view, we have to choose the view of God. Eg..Moses chose விசுவாசத்தினாலே மோசே தான் பெரியவனானபோது பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தியின் மகன் என்னப்படுவதை வெறுத்து, 25. அநித்தியமான பாவசந்தோஷங்களை அநுபவிப்பதைப்பார்க்கிலும் தேவனுடைய ஜனங்களோடே துன்பத்தை அநுபவிப்பதையே தெரிந்துகொண்டு, Heb 11: 24,25
By faith Moses, when he was grown, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to suffer oppression with God’s people rather than to experience the fleeting enjoyment of sin.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்
Eph 4: 22-31….Renewal of inner life leading to godly outward life
22 அந்தப்படி, முந்தின நடக்கைக்குரிய மோசம்போக்கும் இச்சைகளாலே கெட்டுப்போகிற பழைய மனுஷனை நீங்கள் களைந்துபோட்டு,
23. உங்கள் உள்ளத்திலே புதிதான ஆவியுள்ளவர்களாகி, 24. மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும் தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
25. அன்றியும், நாம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அவயவங்களாயிருக்கிறபடியால், பொய்யைக் களைந்து, அவனவன் பிறனுடனே மெய்யைப் பேசக்கடவன். 26. நீங்கள் கோபங்கொண்டாலும் பாவஞ்செய்யாதிருங்கள்; சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்கிறதற்கு முன்னாக உங்கள் எரிச்சல் தணியக்கடவது;27. பிசாசுக்கு இடங்கொடாமலும் இருங்கள். 28. திருடுகிறவன் இனித் திருடாமல், குறைச்சலுள்ளவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாகத் தனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கும்படி, தன் கைகளினால் நலமான வேலைசெய்து, பிரயாசப்படக்கடவன்.
29. கெட்ட வார்த்தை ஒன்றும் உங்கள் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படவேண்டாம்; பக்திவிருத்திக்கு ஏதுவான நல்ல வார்த்தை உண்டானால் அதையே கேட்கிறவனுக்குப் பிரயோஜனமுண்டாகும்படி பேசுங்கள். 30. அன்றியும், நீங்கள் மீட்கப்படும்நாளுக்கென்று முத்திரையாகப் பெற்ற தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்தஆவியைத் துக்கப்படுத்தாதிருங்கள். 31. சகலவிதமான கசப்பும், கோபமும், மூர்க்கமும், கூக்குரலும், தூஷணமும், மற்ற எந்தத் துர்க்குணமும் உங்களைவிட்டு நீங்கக்கடவது. 32. ஒருவருக்கொருவர் தயவாயும் மனஉருக்கமாயும் இருந்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் தேவன் உங்களுக்கு மன்னித்ததுபோல, நீங்களும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் மன்னியுங்கள்.
22to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another. 26“Be angry, yet do not sin.” d Do not let the sun set upon your anger, 27and do not give the devil a foothold.28He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need. 29Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and tender hearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
